What a great IDC CIO Mauritius event and a fun fireside chat!

Huge thanks to IDC and especially Soumy Arora, for putting together such a strong CIO Summit in Mauritius. It was a real pleasure for our CEO, Karien Bornheim, to sit down with Jon Tullett from IDC to talk about scaling AI apps and agents from pilot to production while staying within the confines of all the Mauritian AI and Data Protection Regulations and following the FAIR guidelines.

We covered a lot of ground: where governance and risk get overlooked as AI moves into production, how the threat landscape is shifting both inside and outside the business and what it takes to adapt security practices to Africa's realities, from skills gaps to regulatory readiness to budget constraints.
